Grant Applications and Information
All requests should support the Somerset Foundation’s mission: to provide an inspirational learning environment at Somerset ES, to promote high academic achievement, and to conduct community outreach to other MCPS schools.
Submission deadlines are rolling.
The following format should be used when submitting grant proposals for consideration:
Primary contact’s name, position, email address, and phone number
Names/positions/contact information of other key people involved in the project or purchase
Summary of project or purchase
Goals of the project or purchase
Primary beneficiaries
Expected outcome and how success will be measured
Time frame (including expected start date, duration, and any follow-up)
Total budget for project or purchase, including all projected expenses and amount requested from the Foundation
How the proposed project or purchase supports or advances the goals of the school’s mission, MCPS curriculum, or School Improvement Plan
Signature of primary contact and date submitted
